Group Fitness Instructor
Qualification, Experience and Skills :
A good ability to demonstrate the core competencies.
Listed on the Register of Exercise Professionals
Hold relevant Les Mills or equivalent discipline qualification(s)
1 years’ experience of delivering in group fitness activities and/or 1 years’ experience of participating in group fitness activities.
Suitable and sufficient experience of delivering fitness classes to a range of ages and abilities.
An outgoing, confident and inspiring communicator
Ability to demonstrate techniques classes to the highest standard
A working knowledge of Group Fitness Instructor’s Health and Safety responsibilities
Willingness to continuously develop and attend training and development sessions in line with your personal training plan, on occasion out-with your normal hours of work, to ensure the required level of competence.
S/NVQ Level II Group Fitness qualification
2 standard grades or equivalent in Mathematics and English (or similar)
Hold and maintain a recognised First Aid at Work qualification.
Hold additional coaching and/or sports coaching qualifications.
A working knowledge/willingness to learn about the Charity’s policies and procedures/products and services.
– GROUP FITNESS INSTRUCTOR – AQUA FIT
At Xcite are always looking for qualified Aqua Fit instructors to help to deliver busy programme on a self employed basis.
It may be on a casual basis to cover absence/busy periods or on a more regular basis.
